I had this old lamp that we were not using anymore so I got this bright idea to fix it up for my little girl's room. Then I remembered some fake rose petals that I bought on clearance (25 cents per package) after Valentine's Day last year from Wally World!
Here is what I started with. . .
I started my using some 1" wide white grosgrain ribbon that I had on hand and glue that around the bottom edge of the lampshade just to make sure things looked neat.
Then came the fun part. . . I started layering and gluing down the pink rose petals to the lamp shade. Just a dot of glue at the top edge is all I used.
And, I kept layering and gluing. . .
I also painted the base of the lamp with spray primer and white paint.
And, here is what I ended up with! I LOVE it and my little girls LOVE it! :)
