You can see that I have already taken one chair apart to get it ready to paint.
In the photo below you can see the color I have chosen to paint the metal. It is a hammered finish. There is also primer pictured. The tool laying in front of the spray paint is really neat. You attach it to the top of the spray can and it has a handle to squeeze that pushes the small paint knob and sprays the paint. This is much easier than the regular knobs that come on the spray paint cans.
You can also see the fabric that I purchased for the chairs and the heavy outdoor thread. I will have to let you know how sewing with that thick thread goes.
I think this is going to look really good when I am done if everything goes well. . . :) We'll see. I'll let you know how it's coming along. ..

Honestly, you have a lovely patio set, Melinda! What I like about it is that it has two swirling chairs at both ends. I hope you scraped off the old paint first before repainting the chair and table frames. But I was just wondering if it’s possible to add cushions, so that it’d be more comfortable to sit on.
